This Is the Info about my baby girl.......................
Isabella was diagnosed with "Sagittal Stenosis" -- a premature closing of the fontanels (soft spots). The skull could not then accommodate the growing brain. Isabella required surgery to rectify this, Isabella had Surgery of sagittal craniosynostosis, the operation is called sagittal strip craniectomy this involves placing 3 omega-shaped stainless steel springs in the suture and widening the skull by opening up the coronal and lambdoid sutures on both sides of the head. The surgery was performed by the neurosurgeons at the Children’s Hospital Westmead. The time we spent at Ronald Macdonald House was so rewarding to us they made us feel welcome as if it was our own home they also supplied all meals a lovely little room with an ensuite and bedding for the twins too Ronald Macdonald House has a wish list and we would like to raise enough money for them to get the items that they require to help support the families that stay with them at this wonderful place away from home. Ronald Macdonald House is an independent, non-profit organisation, that seeks to help seriously ill children and their families lead happier, healthier lives.
